Zero tolerance snow and ice control means that any time there is a precipitation event that causes snow and ice coverage in your parking lot or on your sidewalks, Lamka Snow & Ice Management will come out and take care of it. That doesn’t mean that we're necessarily running a plow over half an inch of snow or a thin sheet of ice gathered in the parking lot. Instead, it means that we're salting and deicing the lot, using these valuable tools to burn off the layer of ice to make your parking lot and sidewalks safe for your customers.
We are a 5-Star Awarded full service Snow Removal & Ice Control company located in Mchenry County
The owner of Lamka Snow & Ice Management is John Lamka. At the age of 16 John began plowing snow for his family's gas station located in Chicago 4 blocks from Wrigley Field. Today the company provides service to Cook, Kane, Lake and Mchenry Counties in Illinois. John's wife and two sons help manage the snow operations that service many companies and businesses in Northern Illinois.
We offer a variety of service levels to fit your needs. We specialize in zero tolerance clients, including preventative maintenance such as pre-salting for ice storms and freezing rain, helping to increase safety and reduce liability for our clients. We also offer snow relocation services in cases when a client may need snow moved off-site.
Our site specific crews visit your site before the season begins. A detailed map of each property is kept on file to ensure that each property's needs are met during each and every snowfall. We dramatically decrease the liability of slip and fall incidents through the use of accurate record keeping, innovative safety procedures, weather monitoring, and blizzard/borderline weather event contingency plans
After each storm a post storm site inspection will be performed to be sure that your site was serviced as contracted. Your site will be visited so that we may inspect for slippery/icy condition
that may require an application of de-icing agents or the need for removal of drifted snow.
We purchase high quality ice melt products at the lowest prices available – and the savings are passed on to you.
We only use the highest quality Salt and Deicing products.

At times Mother Nature can be pretty unpredictable. Depending on your property size when Mother Nature sends one or several large storms there may no longer be a place available to push the snow on your lot. In the event it snows so much that there is no longer any room to push the snow, the existing snow piles may have to be removed or relocated with in your property.
